Print Instructions to load money by using random code
Main principle for this method is, that first you get a code FROM YOUR COMET, next make a payment at our website by using this acquired code. You will get code back from our website. Then enter this received code back to your Comet, and Comet money account will rise.
Any installation, MiniUSB-cable or other connection between Comet and your Computer are not needed.
1. Go to comet.fi and select link ”LOAD MONEY INTO COMET”.
2. Next page appears. Select ”By use of Acquired Code via this site”
3. Choose payment method; ”Pay by credit card” or ”Pay by internet bank”
4. Fill up all the information needed in the selected form on our website.
5. Fill in the field ”Acquired code from Comet” with a code, which is acquired from your Comet as follows:
a) Turn on Comet by pressin ”OK/Power” –button as long as text appears on the display of Comet. Wait until you see parking zone, for example HL11.
b) Press ”MODE”-button as long as you see ”LOAD” on your Cometīs display
c) Press ”OK/Power”-button shortly. Text ”VAL” appears to the display
d) Press ”OK/Power”-button shortly. Text ”VL:10” (number is blinking) appears on the display
e) Select the same value, as in the field “Loading value” in our website, by using UP/DOWN arrow –buttons.
f) When correct value is blinking on Cometīs display, for example VL:100, confirm it by pressing OK/Power-button shortly.
g) Text ”S.COD” appears shortly on Comet display. After that you see 4 aplhanumeric digits on Comet display, for example 2B6D. Code includes numbers between 0-9 letters between A-F.
h) Enter this acquired code into the field ”Acquired code from Comet” in our website.
6. Click ”Total Charge” –button on our website (only on credit card payments). You will see total charge you are going to be charged (loading value + 10% service fee)
7. Click ”Make payment” –button on our website . If you are paying by using internet banks, you will see next new page, where you can find button “VAHVISTA TILAUS” (= confirm payment). Click it to confirm and continue to your banks page.
8. After payment has been confirmed and accepted by us, RECEIVED CODE will appear on our website. It is 4 random numbers, which will appear below selected payment form. PLEASE NOTE! WRITE RECEIVED CODE DOWN!
If Comet has been unused for long time during payment on our webpage and Comet has turned off automatically, please repeat steps 5 a-h above and move directly after them to Step 9 (pass step 6-8). DO NOT MAKE PAYMENT TWICE!
9. When having acquired code (for example 2B6D) on your Comet display (code was acquired in step 5), press ”OK/Power” –button shortly. Texts ”TYPE” and ”R.COD” appear quickly on the Comet display. After it ”0000” (4 zeros) appear on the display, and first of them is blinking.
10. Enter received code one number at a time (4 numbers, which were received from our site after payment) by using Cometīs UP/DOWN arrow –buttons. After entering first number correct, confirm it by pressing shortly MODE-button (right arrow), and you are able to enter next numberand so on.
11. After entering whole code (4 numbers) leave the last number blinking. Confirm the code by pressing shortly ”OK/power”-button (not MODE-button).
12. If you entered code correct, you will see ”WAIT”, ”PASS” and ”BANK + new account saldo”. After displaying this information, Comet turn automatically off.
13. If you entered code incorrect, you will see ”ER01”. Press any button shortly, and you can try 7 times over again. After 7 attempts, code is useless and Comet is locked.
If Comet is locked, You will see ER02 on display, when trying to load by using code-method. You can open locked Comet at our service point in Malms Nova, Malminkaari 13A Helsinki.
