Tell a friend about Comet and you both get a cinema ticket

Comet is easy to use! Quick instructions

It takes only few seconds to start parking by using Comet! You do not have to stand up from your vehicle and find a ticket machine. You just have to click couple of buttons to start payment of the parking and place Comet on your co-driver sidewindow.

1. Turn your Comet on by pressing Power-button so long that you can see text apperaring on Comet display. Wait for parking zone to appear (for example HL11)

2. Select the Zone for parking by using up/down arrows;

HL means city of Helsinki. First digit means the zone number, and second digit means the duration of parking in hours. X means unlimited duration of parking.

You are able to see correct zone from a traffic signs placed on streets or from a on street parking meters side.

3. Start parking by pressing Power-button TWICE shortly. There appears "WAIT" on Comet display and parking payment starts.

Selected zone and duration of parking starts to changing on the display. There also appears CODE during parking. It is for parking enforcements, that they can see device is legal. Code changes many times during a day.

Also LED below the display starts to blink.

First LED (blue) from left : Zone1

Second LED (Green) : Zone2

Third LED (Yellow) : Zone3

Fourth LED (red) : starts to blink if you selected for example Maximum payment of 4 hours and time payment ends.

4. After starting parking payment, open your vehicles co-driver´s sidewindow, and hang Comet on it. Close window tight. 

 

 You may also purchase handy Comet-holder for windshield. It is placed to down right corner of your windshield. Holder should be placed so that it is not disturbing visibility for driver.

5. After you return to your vehicle and want to stop parking, just press Power button so long that you will see "OFF" and device turns off (everything disappers on the display and LED´s stop to blink). Parking payment ends exactly that time when you turn Comet off.
